AKSbazi.com is pleased to announce the launch of a photographic contest in conjunction with Hermes records for the cover of Hooshyar Khayam’s upcoming new album 1000 Acacias.
Entries do not necessarily need to contain Acacias! Participants are free to use their own interpretation of the name and can use the feel of the music to do so. To hear excerpts from the album click on the following links:

SPECIAL RULES OF THE CONTEST
Submissions to the site must conform to AKSbazi.com’s required size format as before, but a HIGH RESOLUTION copy of the photograph must be available for possible printing purposes. Please note that even if you win but cannot produce the quality required for printing, your photograph can not be used. If you can,take your photograph in RAW format, for those without this facility, set you camera to take the largest picture that it can.
Considering the professional sphere in which the photograph needs to be used, the judges at Hermes records reserve the right to declare that none of the works has met their criteria, and declare no winner. The winner will be announced on 3.07.1388 (25.07.2009). In the event of a winner being selected, the product will be produced on minimum 2000 copies, distributed both nationally and internationally with full credits to the photographer. A small token of appreciation will be delivered to the winner on behalf of Hermes and AKSbazi.com.
